HARRISBURG, Pa. - Disaster Recovery Centers (DRCs) in Philadelphia, Sullivan, and Susquehanna counties will close on Friday, October 21, according to officials from the Pennsylvania and Federal Emergency Management Agencies (PEMA and FEMA).
The following three DRCs will close permanently at 7 p.m. Friday, October 21:

Montrose, PA 18801
The hours for all three, until they close on Friday, are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Until the DRCs close, specialists from the U.S. Small Business Administration will be on hand to issue loan applications and answer questions about their low-interest loan packages available to individuals, private nonprofit organizations and businesses of any size. These loans are for the repair or replacement of real estate and/or personal property damaged by the storms and related flooding, officials said.
After these three DRCs close permanently on Friday, October 21, individuals with questions can contact the FEMA Helpline at 1-800-621-3362. People with hearing disabilities can use the TTY number, 1-800-462-7585.
A list of the Disaster Recovery Centers that remain open throughout central and eastern Pennsylvania is presented below. All remaining DRCs are open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. DRCs are not open on Sunday.

Disaster officials recommend that you register before visiting a Disaster Recovery Center, so if you have any questions about the application process they can be answered face to face. You can visit any DRC regardless of where you live or work.
The deadline for registering for disaster assistance for both Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee is November 14.

- Call 1-800-621-FEMA (3362). Operators assist callers seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Help is available in most languages. If you have a speech disability or hearing loss and use a TTY, call 1-800-462-7585.
- Register online at www.DisasterAssistance.gov.
- Register using a tablet or smartphone by visiting m.fema.gov.
- If you use 711 or Video Relay Service (VRS), call 1-800-621-3362.
If you have a disability and need help registering, please don’t hesitate to contact FEMA to ask for help.
Information to have ready when registering with FEMA includes the address of the damaged property, names of members of the household, a general description of the damage, the Social Security number of any family member living in the home and the extent of insurance coverage.
