ALBANY, N.Y. -- Mitigation experts from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) are in three county stores this week.

They are answering questions and offering home improvement tips and proven techniques to prevent and lessen damage from future disasters.

They are at stores in Greene, Rensselaer and Schoharie counties:
