BISMARCK, N.D. – The Burleigh/Morton Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in the Mandan City Hall will permanently close at 7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 30.
But FEMA isn’t going away. Residents who need disaster related assistance can continue to contact FEMA by calling 800-621-3362 (TTY 800-462-7585 or 711-relay) between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. CDT daily or going online at www.fema.gov or www.disasterassistance.gov, or by smart phone or tablet at m.fema.gov.
In addition, the Minot recovery center remains open for all North Dakota residents impacted by this year’s flooding. The Minot DRC is located inside the Dakota Mall, 2400 10th Street SW, Minot, ND 58701. Hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday; closed Sunday.
Information about Small Business Administration (SBA) loans is available through SBA’s Disaster Assistance Customer Service Center by calling 800-659-2955, emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or visiting SBA’s website at www.sba.gov. Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals may call TTY 800-877-8339. Applicants may also apply for SBA loans online at SBA’s secure website at https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela.
The deadline to register for federal assistance and return SBA loan applications is Monday, Nov. 21.
