CONCORD, N.H. - There are ways to repair or rebuild after flooding that will reduce the likelihood of damage if it happens again. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has a mitigation division that specializes in that kind of expertise.
FEMA mitigation specialists will be on hand at local building supply stores in Coos, Carroll and Grafton counties to provide information about ways to rebuild that can reduce the risk of damages from future disasters.
