BISMARCK, N.D. – The Minot Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) operating in the City Auditorium will move Saturday to the Ward County Courthouse.
The DRC ceases to operate at the auditorium location at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 4 and re-opens at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, in the Courthouse located at 315 3rd Street SE. Hours of operation remain 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday, closed on Sundays.
DRCs assist North Dakota residents who have been affected by the spring flooding and are there for residents who like to speak one-on-one to recovery representatives. However, it’s not necessary to visit a center to receive disaster assistance. The fastest way to register is by calling 1-800-621-3362 (TTY 1-800-462-7585) between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. (CDT) daily or going online at www.fema.gov or www.disasterassistance.gov, or by smart phone at m.fema.gov.
The Small Business Administration Minot Business Recovery Center (BRC) will remain open at the Auditorium until 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5, then open on Monday, Aug. 8, in a new location at the Wells Fargo Bank, 15 Second Avenue SW. BRC hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
