BISMARCK, N.D. – Representatives of the IRS will be at the disaster recovery centers in Minot and Bismarck from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, July 14-16, to help taxpayers with disaster-related tax questions.
The centers are located at Minot State University Student Center, 500 University Ave. W; Minot City Auditorium, 420 Third Ave. SW; Bank of North Dakota, 1200 Memorial Highway, Bismarck.
Federal tax relief may be available for taxpayers and businesses in the counties declared as major disaster areas for individual assistance because of 2011 flooding.
Individuals who want to consult with the IRS should bring all relevant documents to the center.
