LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- Mitigation specialists with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will be available at seven locations in Arkansas beginning July 7 to advise homeowners rebuilding after the spring storms and floods, and those looking to make their property stronger and safer.

Homeowners will be able to ask questions about protecting their homes from future disaster damage, and to get other home improvement tips and techniques. Topics will include mold and mildew cleanup and prevention, flood- and wind-resistant building methods, wind straps and other protective measures. Free publications on these topics will also be available.
