CLINTON, Miss. -- The Disaster Recovery Center in Monroe County will close at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 7.
The Monroe County center is at the Government Complex Bldg., 1619 Highland Dr., Amory.
Those who have registered with the Federal Emergency Management Agency still can get help by calling FEMA's Helpline, 800-621-FEMA (3362).
Applicants can learn the status of their request, update their contact information, respond to requests for information, and ask questions about the application process.
The deadline has passed for survivors of the April tornadoes and storms to register for disaster assistance. FEMA no longer will accept new requests for disaster assistance related to those storms.
Survivors of the May Mississippi River flooding have until July 11 to register for aid.
