LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- Disaster survivors in Prairie County can meet face to face with state and federal recovery specialists at a Disaster Recovery Center opening in Hazen at the Prairie County Fairgrounds on Monday, June 13.
Specialists from the state of Arkansas, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), U.S. Small Business Administration and other agencies will all be on hand to answer questions and provide information on the types of assistance available to survivors. They also will have brochures and other written materials on disaster recovery.

To expedite the assistance process Arkansans are encouraged to register with FEMA before visiting a recovery center. They may register through any one of FEMA's registration portals: online at www.disasterassistance.gov, via web-enabled phone at m.fema.gov, or by telephone toll free at 1-800-621-FEMA (3362) or TTY 1-800-462-7585.
