BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—Those whose homes or businesses were affected by the recent storms and tornadoes can get face-to-face help for only a few more days at five disaster recovery centers.
The following disaster recovery centers will remain open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Saturday, June 4 before closing for good:

Approximately 1,800 disaster survivors have visited these disaster recovery centers.
Visitors to the Shelby Park recovery center will be able to visit the nearby McDonald Hughes Center at 3101 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Its operating hours will be 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and closed Sundays.
DRCs open to provide survivors a one-stop location to get information to help them through the recovery process. When traffic at a center slows down, it is an indication that the needs for information in that community have decreased.
