FEMA Specialists To Offer Advice At A Chattanooga Lowe's

NASHVILLE, Tenn. --Mitigation specialists from the Federal Emergency Management Agency will be at a Chattanooga Lowe’s store to offer tips on how to lessen the damage from future disasters.

The specialists will have a display booth at the location below starting Wednesday, May 18. It will be open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., until Monday, May 23, when it will close at 4 p.m. On Sunday, May 22, the booth will be open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Information on how to repair and clean your flooded home will be available in English and Spanish. Among the other resources available will be booklets on helping children cope with a disaster, flood insurance, food and water in an emergency, tornado fact sheets and tornado protection.
