WEST DES MOINES, Iowa -- Disaster Loan Outreach Centers in Cherokee and Wright counties will close for the Columbus Day Holiday, Monday, Oct. 11, re-opening the following day.
Currently staffed by experts from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), the centers were opened to assist homeowners, renters, and businesses of all sizes affected by the severe storms, flooding, and tornadoes this summer.

SBA customer service representatives are available at both centers to issue loan applications, answer questions about SBA's low-interest disaster loan programs, explain the application process, help each individual complete the application, and close approved disaster loans.
