LAREDO, Texas -- Teams of hazard mitigation specialists with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will be available at McCoy's Home Center in Mission beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Sept. 7.
The teams will be available from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Saturday, Sept. 11.
Their aim is to provide information and answer questions residents may have about protecting their homes from future disaster damage as well as building or rebuilding their homes safer and stronger.
The FEMA representatives may talk with survivors about mold issues, mitigation and preparedness issues including tornado preparedness. They will also offer publications on similar topics.
