Disaster Recovery Centers Adjust Hours, Help With SBA Applications

BEAVER, W. Va. -- Beginning Saturday, July 24, Disaster Recovery Centers will be open for four hours on Saturdays in addition to the full-day schedule Monday through Friday.

Residents with June storm losses can get face-to-face help requesting disaster assistance or filling out a U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) loan. West Virginia and federal disaster recovery officials urge residents to submit their SBA applications as soon as possible in order to continue the financial assistance process. If SBA is not able to approve a loan for a homeowner or renter, they will be referred back to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for possible additional disaster assistance.

The following Disaster Recovery Centers are open on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Centers are not open on Sundays:
