SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico -- The Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced today, that the Disaster Recovery Centers (DRCs) operating hours on Tuesday, January 6, 2008, will be from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
DRCs will resume their regular operations on Wednesday, January 7, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.? On Saturdays, business hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., until further notice.
Individuals who suffered property damage or who had personal property losses resulting from the September 21 ? October 3, 2008 floods should call the toll-free number 1-800-621-3362, for the speech- or hearing-impaired the TTY number is 1-800-462-7585, before the registration deadline, which is January 15, 2009. Registration is also available online at www.disasterassistance.gov.
