The lines will re-open Friday at 7 a.m., and remain open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday through December 8.
The phone lines are for people with damage from Hurricane Isabel and other storms from September 18 through 26 to call and register for aid. All federal and state disaster aid programs can be accessed by calling the number, 1-800-621-FEMA (3362), or, for the speech and hearing impaired, TTY 1-800-462-7585
December 8 is the last day for North Carolina residents to register for aid.
