Disaster Assistance Team To Visit Shelby County

Cridersville, OH - A Disaster Assistance Team of federal and state disaster assistance specialists will be in Sidney July 28 and 29 to give households and businesses that suffered property damage from the July 4 floods information and help in filing applications for aid.

The team will be available 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the Shelby Emergency Management Agency:

Program experts will offer advice and consultation and help in filing applications to those whose homes and businesses were damaged as a result of the recent disaster. Assistance available to eligible applicants may include temporary housing grants, U.S. Small Business Administration loans for homeowners, renters and businesses, and grants for disaster-related needs not covered by insurance or other assistance programs.
