Disaster Recovery Centers to Close July 27

Williston, VT -- Residents who sustained losses as a result of the June 5 through 13 flooding have until 6 p.m. Saturday, July 27, to visit the Disaster Recovery Centers. Centers are designed to provide detailed information on programs such as housing assistance, grants for serious needs and necessary expenses not covered by insurance or other programs, and low interest loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Disaster Recovery Centers are located in the Municipal Office Building, 119 Park Avenue, Lyndonville, and the Barlow Street Community Center, 39 Barlow Street, St. Albans.

After the closing of the centers, residents and businesses that have further questions about federal disaster assistance may call the same toll-free number available for those who haven't yet registered: 1-800-621-FEMA (3362). The TTY number for those who are hearing-or speech-impaired is: 1-800-462-7585.
