Disaster Recovery Center Hours Change; Help Is Still A Phone Call Away

Moorhead, MN -- The Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in Roseau County is still open. However, beginning this Saturday, July 27, the center will be closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

The center, located at 809 6th St. NE in Roseau, will still be open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. until further notice.

To date, 3,750 individuals in the disaster designated counties have registered for disaster assistance, 571 individuals visited the DRCs that have already closed, and 1,483 individuals have visited the Roseau center.

Anyone with questions about federal and state recovery assistance programs or the status of their applications may call the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) toll-free registration number at 1-800-621-3362 or (TTY) 1-800-462-7585. The telephone numbers are operational from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., seven days a week until further notice.

Disaster assistance programs include housing assistance, grants for serious needs and necessary expenses not covered by insurance or other programs, and low-interest loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) for flood-damaged residential and business property. Disaster unemployment assistance, tax assistance and other special services are also available to persons affected by the disaster.
