Denver, CO -- Disaster Recovery Centers located in Durango and Woodland Park will no longer be open on Sundays. Hours for both locations remain 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The center in Durango is located at Riverview Elementary School, 2900 Mesa Ave. The Woodland Park location is at Woodland Park High School, 151 N. Baldwin. The location in Cañon City at Garden Park High School, 210 6th St. at Macon, is closing permanently on Saturday, July 13. That is also the final day for the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA)/FEMA team operating at the Hayman Recovery Assistance Center.
Disaster victims may still register for assistance by calling toll-free 1-800-621-FEMA (3362). Individuals with hearing or speech impairments can call TTY 1-800-462-7585.
Disaster assistance programs include housing assistance, grants for serious needs and necessary expenses not covered by insurance or other programs, and low-interest loans from the SBA. Disaster unemployment assistance, tax assistance and other special services are also available to eligible persons affected by the disaster.
