Moorhead, MN -- Individuals and businesses affected by the severe flooding that began June 9 now have two additional Disaster Recovery Centers (DRCs) to get questions answered and to assist them with paperwork if needed.
On Tuesday, July 9, state and federal emergency management agencies will open one center in International Falls and one in Baudette. The centers are scheduled to operate from July 9 through July 13. Hours will be 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Other DRCs are located in Roseau, Mahnomen, and Norman Counties.

Disaster Recovery Centers are designed to provide personal assistance to those who have already applied for help and may have further questions. The centers are staffed by state, federal, and voluntary agencies, including loan officers from the U.S. Small Business Administration and the alternate housing officer. The disaster programs available include temporary housing, individual and family grants, disaster unemployment assistance, and other aid programs. PLEASE NOTE: Financial assistance is not directly provided from these centers.
