Mesa, AZ -- State and federal officials announce the opening of a new Help Center in Heber. The Help Center will open on Wednesday, July 3, in Capps Middle School at 3375 Buckskin Canyon Road. Hours will be from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The Help Center at 33 West Vista in Holbrook will be closing at 7 p.m. on July 3, but those who need assistance may visit the following locations or go to the Heber Help Center.
Other centers are open at the following locations.
- Eastern Arizona College, 201 North Mud Springs Rd., Payson (9 a.m. to 7 p.m.)
- Show Low Primary School, 1350 North Central Ave., Show Low (9 a.m. to 7 p.m.)
- Mobile unit at the Veteran's Building in White River (9 a.m. to 6 p.m.)
Recovery teams at the centers are available to answer questions and provide recovery information about various assistance programs. Disaster programs include temporary housing assistance, low-interest disaster loans, individual and family grants, and disaster unemployment insurance. This is also an opportunity for homeowners to receive information about wildfire mitigation and safety tips.
