Olympia, WA -- Earthquake affected infrastructure will be the primary focus of Preliminary Damage Assessment (PDA) operations scheduled to begin today, Bill Lokey, Federal Coordinating Officer (FCO) with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), said in a joint statement with Washington State Coordinating Officer (SCO) Diane Offord.
FEMA representatives will join with state officials to survey quake damage in the six federally declared disaster counties-Lewis, King, Pierce, Thurston, Mason and Kitsap-starting with the following areas on the tentative dates indicated:

Friday/March 9, 2001 City of Seattle |
