Entitled "The World Can Be A Harrowing Place," the all-day seminar will address issues ranging from coping with violence in our everyday lives, and how what happens at home affects those we work with, to employer obligations for providing employees with a safe workplace environment. A special lunchtime program, "The Fury from Within ? Preventing Violence in the Workplace," will examine critical situations in which violence can erupt, offer current solutions for preventing and containing violence, and suggest appropriate responses when violence does occur.
