Mobile Disaster Rebuilding Center to Visit 4 Counties

RALEIGH, N.C. -- A specially equipped Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) mobile information center continues touring disaster-hit counties to show business and homeowners rebuilding methods and techniques to make their properties more disaster-resistant.

The center will be visiting sites to demonstrate mitigation measures, such as structural strengthening, elevating structures and equipment in flood zones, and acquisition. Specialists will provide information on a range of mitigation options for all types of damage.

The mobile information center will be open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. the following locations:
