HARRISBURG, Pa. -- The Disaster Recovery Center in Bradford will close at 7 p.m. on Friday, according to Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA) officials.

Following the closure of the Disaster Recovery Center, McKean County residents who suffered losses or damage as a result of the Aug. 20-21 storms and flooding can still register for disaster assistance by calling the FEMA toll-free registration number, 1-800-462-9029, or 1-800-462-7585 (TTY) for the hearing and speech impaired. The toll-free registration line is in operation from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

Disaster victims who have registered for assistance and have questions about the status of their applications can call the FEMA helpline at 1-800-525-0321 or 1-800-462-7585 (TTY) for the hearing impaired.
