WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The National Weather Service (NWS) reports snow accumulations of three to 20 inches fell over all of New England this past weekend. The latest storm added to the nearly two feet already on the ground. For example, Rochester, New York, received 18 inches as of yesterday, bringing that city's total March snowfall to more than three feet.
NWS forecasts temperatures across New England today will fall into the single digits, bringing wind-chill factors to as low as 30 degrees below zero in some areas. The storm is expected to weaken throughout today and tomorrow, although some light snow is forecast for New York and southern New England Tuesday.
