Long Beach, N.Y., Jan. 7, 2013 -- FEMA Community Relations Specialists visited Long Beach business owners to check their registration status for federal assistance and explain the SBA (Small Business Administration) assistance program. FEMA is working with many partners including federal, state, local and tribal governments, voluntary faith-based and community-based organizations along with the private sector to assist residents impacted by Hurricane Sandy.
