Emmitsburg, Md., Nov. 7, 2012 -- Approximately 390 DHS employees, volunteering for Individual Assistance assignments in areas impacted by Hurricane Sandy, arrive for training. Following a day and a half of briefings, updates and training these individuals will be transported to assignments in Joint Field Offices. In-processing and deployment is being coordinated at FEMA's National Emergency Training Center.
