Crystal City, Va., Aug. 7, 2012 -- Richard Reed, Vice President for Preparedness and Resilience Strategy, American Red Cross discussed the importance of national preparedness during the National Preparedness Symposium. The symposium serves as a forum to build and maintain stakeholder relationships, enhance community resilience, share unique and innovative solutions, and highlight lessons learned through implementing a whole community approach before, during and after a catastrophic event.
