D.C., August 26, 2011 -- DHS Sec, Janet Napolitano along with Red Cross President and CEO Gail McGoven(l), W.Craig Fugate, FEMA Administrator(r)and via video, NOAA National Hurricane Center Director,Bill Read discussed the need for all citizens to be prepared at a press conference in the FEMA HQ. They discussed the current status of Hurricane Irene while encouraging residents to prepare for potential power outages and other disaster-related issues.
