Austell, Ga., September 24, 2009 -- Georgia Emergency Management Agency (GEMA) Area Coordinator Gary Rice (L), Small Business Administration(SBA) Specialist John Ponce, FEMA Individual Assistance(IA) Team lead Yogi Hollowell, and FEMA Mitigation Specialist(MIT) John Hasty are here conducting Preliminary Individual Assistance Disaster Assessments (PDA's) along Douglas County Sweetwater Creek to determine potential extent of damage to homes by recent severe storms and flooding.
