Gilchrist, Texas, August 16, 2009 --Stilt homes which survived the arrival of Hurricane Ike are the only structures standing in the town of Gilchrist. The town was destroyed by Hurricane Ike. FEMA is working with local, state and other federal agencies to rebuild the town. Photo by Patsy Lynch/FEMA
