Here is a reminder to all eligible applicants in Mercer County; the deadline to register for Disaster Unemployment Assistance, DUA, is Monday, Aug. 3.
Don???t miss the opportunity to qualify for disaster unemployment funds if you own a business or if you lost work due to the early-May storms.
Applicants for DUA need to provide proof of past earnings such as business records or bank statements, as well as their most recent income tax returns.
Any WORKFORCE West Virginia Center can accept DUA claims. Centers will be open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
