Ethan Gehl: I'm Ethan, I'm with Americorps N Triple C, we're based out of Perry Point, Maryland. We got a call probably two weeks ago Sunday; we started working down here two weeks ago exactly on Wednesday actually. And we've been a lot in the Hanover area working at first with the Southern Baptists to give us some training and make sure we had a good idea of what needed to be done around here. And then we got to work. We're pulling out the morning of the 15th, so that's Monday and we have a list of houses we're trying to get through before then. So this is our next house, we're pulling out the debris, the National Guard has been great they've been pulling most of the debris out for us and taking it to their own site, and all we have to do take it to the side of the road. So each house is different, some of them were hit harder than others. We've been doing a lot of insulation and duct work underneath the houses, when it gets wet a lot of it gets moldy. This particular house, at the front I don't know if you saw but there's a water line, and in this house it's right around three feet, so something like waste high, so in that particular case and it's been sitting since the flood, there hasn't been a lot of structural work done to it so the mold has just been growing. So what basically we're doing is just gutting the entire house. Pulling out all the paneling, all the insulation, pulling up the floor down to the sub-floor. We've taken up, we started this house at about 8 o'clock this morning and I'm sure we'll finish it today, and it's been fun. Ermon Browning: I'll tell you what, we had a wall of water. It wasn't really a good feeling, we had I'd say it was maybe two and a half hours, we had oh at least six little waters that come up and go down. Not to diminish any of it, but it wasn't much of a disaster. Just my house, my trailer, I got my son and everything he had in his automobile. It was a very very scary situation, I'm 72 years old and I've never seen anything like it. But the good part about it, I kept all of my family. At that time of night we could have lost everybody but we didn't. We got up neighbor's neighbors, got everybody out. Got them all up on higher ground. It's a mystery how water can come up fast as that.
