Hello, I'm Greg Eaton and I am FEMA


As the FCO, I am responsible for the


management of all the programs in 


supporting the state. Whether Individual


Assistance, Hazard Mitigation or Public 


Assistance. I was a Navy reserve officer and


I was selected for my job as an emergency


prepardness liason officer, which is a 


national board and it is very competitive.


I was fortunate enough to get selected and 


started the interviewing process for the 


Federal coordinating officer cadre, which


is a multi-step process to get hired and then 


started with FEMA about two years ago.


This is a great job. I deal with a lot of 


interesting people. The people of FEMA are


phenomenal to work with. And that's certainly


the highlight for me and working with those


folks from all over the country helping people 


who really do need our help. There are 


some terrific people out there that can really


help you do your job and yes, I might be 


responsible for this group and in the delivery


of programs and the caring and feeding


of the FEMA folks that are here and any other


Federal agencies that are here but everybody


is focused on providing services to the applicants.
