Good afternoon everyone. We’ll call 

this meeting to order. What we do 

in the meeting is pretty much discuss 

strategies of going out, how we’re 

going to do preliminary damage 

assessments, actually basically 

do logistics and also strategic 

planning. The team effort basically 

is between the state and FEMA. 

We have individuals working together 

and then we also include the local 

applicant, working together, with 

us to get the figures and also the 

damages together so we don’t miss 

anything. Within 48 hours we have 

the advance team out and then from 

the advance teams we usually roll 

the preliminary damage assessment 

teams out within 72 hours.

We want to make sure that we can do 

the best job we can for North Carolina.
