Hi. It's Craig. Today I had a unique honor. I got to come to the National Congress of American Indians. Part of our job is to work with all governments, including our federally-recognized tribes and our villages. Today, I came to learn and listen. This was my opportunity to sit down with tribal leadership and elders and learn about the programs that FEMA administers and the challenges they have in working with us. We're here to learn so that we can build a better team, a better community, by recognizing the role our federal tribes and villages play, not only in the day-to-day life of their community, but also in disaster and how we can better serve them when they are impacted. So again, it was a great honor to be here. I've learned a lot. We have a lot of work to do. But let's remember, as we build our team and build our communities, the tribes and the villages of this country are part of that team. Let's remember and respect their role and listen to their issues as we prepare to get better before the next disaster.
