This hub is helping the community, my community here with .... I mean Sandy really hit us hard, but we hit it hard ... I hit it hard ... and I fight it back ... and ... by helping my people here ... they needed help from day one ... and I was there the first Saturday, and I started giving them everything possible. I made calls. Donations were coming. I kept going day after day ... day after day ... non-stop ... not even one day off. And so ... today is day 83 for me ... straight ... non-stop ... not even one weekend. But it's okay because I really feel the joy. I feel peace inside me. I feel like I'm a hundred million dollar man, which is ... that's what gives me the most. I start as a half-table man. I was the whole ... the whole block, and then now we are in a private property with big tents. This hub is helping the community ... is really having a big impact on the community. Big in a way like ... it's not only the food. It's not the supplies. It's not ... it's a big ... it makes them very strong. Even on a cold day like today ... 12 degrees ... I'm here. I didn't go home because there is no home. My home is a hotel as we speak. And so ... this is my home. This is ... where I'm standing here ... this is next to my home. Next to my demolished home. Today my house went down ... bulldozed. But it's okay because I'm here to help all my community here. This is a wonderful asset to the community. I mean everybody who's just doing these types of things and helping out ... really ... I mean ... are taking the edge off a lot of people with just simple as soup ... just some food for a meal here and there. It's a wonderful thing. It's amazing. You're doing such a beautiful job ... really. If it wasn't for you, a lot of people wouldn't have all this stuff especially for Christmas and everything else. You really are doing an amazing, amazing job ... really. God bless you. This place has the lights. They have the food. They have the water. The people that eat here ... gives us might ... let us know ... at least we still have here. Don't cry.
