30: seconds The Federal Emergency Management Agency held a grand opening today at the Lizzard Creek Park in western Wyoming County, where 41 surviving families will move into new mobile home units. FEMA had previously moved survivors of the early May flooding in southern counties into three other sites in Mingo County. Local, county and state officials joined FEMA in acknowledging the cooperative effort of many agencies and elected officials to provide a safe home for those without a home because of that flooding. The units are 14 feet by 60 feet, three bedrooms, a full bath and complete kitchen.
