  • The Intergovernmental Affairs team was tasked to provide support for the delivery of information to an audience of local officials distributed over a wide geographic area. This mission was accomplished by hosting a webinar with video capability, minimizing expense to the taxpayer.

  • Sam's Club invited FEMA to participate in their Emergency Preparedness Expo which was offered to small business owners and the general public. The purpose was to provide an opportunity for customers to network with community-minded emergency managers and learn how to prepare for, respond to and recover from disasters that can affect their business and home.

  • Avanti Linens received about 4 feet (approximately 2.5 million gallons) of flood water in its facility from Superstorm Sandy. After the storm, they created a disaster recovery planning committee to address ideas on protecting themselves from any future storms. This video features their mitigation efforts taken while recovering from the storm.
