  • Rutgers University in Piscataway, NJ, held their annual Rutgers Day Scarlet-White spring football game on Saturday, April 27, 2013. All fans in attendance of the game were given the option to donate money to the Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund upon entering the gates. The team players wore special helmets with the R Strong logo as well as jerseys with the 90 names of towns across New Jersey that were affected by the storm. Rutgers also invited FEMA to distribute information on campus during the festivities.

    Rutgers University in Piscataway, NJ, held their annual Rutgers Day Scarlet-White spring football game on Saturday, April 27, 2013. The coaster has become both a tourist attraction and an eyesore as boardwalk business owners struggle to have shops and rides open by Memorial Day. The Jet Star and other related debris in the ocean are now being removed as recovery efforts continue before the summer season begins.
