Anniston, Ala., Oct. 31, 2012 -- A new patient simulator undergoes the decontamination process during a recent end-of-course exercise at the Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP). Unlike other patient simulators, these may come in contact with water, sand, dirt, heat, and humidity. These new systems allow emergency responders to provide complete mass casualty care from the beginning of medical treatment to the end.
