Galveston, Texas, January 13, 2010 -- Philip Parks, Hurricane Ike Deputy Recovery Manager (L), Brad Harris, Hurricane Ike Recovery Manager (C), and Connie Dill, Hazard Mitigation Assistant (R) meet after Harris spoke at the Galveston County Commissioners Court where he discussed a $102,716,260 Hazard Mitigation grant, the single largest ever funded in Region 6, therefore allowing the county to acquire and demolish 759 structures, mainly on the Bolivar Peninsula.
