Galveston, Texas, January 13, 2010 -- Brad Harris, Hurricane Ike Recovery Manager (R), confers with Philip Parks, Hurricane Ike Deputy Recovery Manager (C), and other Hazard Mitigation staff following his address at the Galveston County Commissioners Court where he discussed a $102,716,260 grant, the largest Hazard Mitigation grant ever funded in Region 6, therefore allowing the county to acquire and demolish 759 structures.
