FEMA Office of Environmental Planning and Historic Preservation (OEHP) FACT SHEETS (2 pagers)
An essential part of fulfilling FEMA’s vision for EHP compliance is to ensure EHP considerations are integrated into every phase of the program lifecycle, with a focus on considering EHP requirements as early as possible in project planning. To accomplish this goal, it is important to ensure that applicants are provided with clear and concise information regarding EHP compliance considerations. To meet this need, the Office of Environmental Planning and Historic Preservation (OEHP) is producing a series of twenty, two-page fact sheets on a selection of project types across FEMA grant programs. These “two-pagers” offer information that is designed to encourage project application development practices that facilitate EHP review and can serve as a foundation for integration of EHP into Standard Operating Procedures and other program guidance.
