NFIP Flood Insurance Floodproofing Certificate for Non-Residential Structures
The National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) Floodproofing Certificate (FEMA form 086-0-34) is the form to be used to certify a floodproofing design for non-residential buildings that are permitted as an alternative to elevating to or above the Base Flood Elevation (BFE).
The Floodproofing Certificate form is currently under review at the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and they have extended the expiration date of this form to November 30, 2015. Until their review process is complete, please continue to use the existing form. Upon OMB approval, FEMA will update this record with the new Floodproofing Certificate form.
