Blaine County applied for funding under FEMA’s Pre-Disaster Mitigation grant program for a hazard mitigation project that will provide bank protection along the Big Wood River near the Deer Creek Road Bridge. In accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and FEMA’s regulations implementing NEPA at 44 CFR Part 10, an Environmental Assessment has been prepared to evaluate the potential impacts of the proposed project on the environment.
