HAZUS Technical Compendium - Storing Study Regions - Choose the Best Location for Your Purposes
The default Install Wizard in Hazus automatically stores study regions in the C:Program FilesHAZUS-MH directory. This default may become problematic for some users due to limited disk space, or to issue with administrative privileges to the program files directory. This entry in the HAZUS Technical Compendium outlines the steps needed to remedy file storage issues by changing the location where study regions are stored on your hard drive or network. Before beginning this process it is recommended that you backup your current study regions so that you do not lose any analysis done to date. If you have any technical information that you would like to contribute to the HAZUS Technical Compendium Submissions, please submit to Jamie Caplan at firstname.lastname@example.org.
