Good Morning, This is Casey De Shong at the FEMA Region IX Office in Oakland, California. Today is Tuesday, May 19, 2009. Here are the items we are watching today: AZ- There will be a slight chance of thunderstorms today and tonight with a better chance over the higher terrain of south-central Arizona. CA- Gale Warning for the Central and Northern Coastal region, Lake wind advisories for the Tahoe and Sierra Nevada lakes area. NV ��� The National Weather Service has issued a RED FLAG warning for dry lightning...which is in effect from 11 am this morning to 11 pm PDT this evening. Warning extends through most of southern Nevada. AZ: A FEMA Fire Management Assistance Grant was approved last night for the Mule Pass Fire Arizona (Mule Pass Fire) in Bisbee (Cochise County), Arizona.
